Australian woman collects interesting notes dropped by people on the road

The woman has collected notes from all over Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Toronto and even New York

Busy cities make our lives even busier and writing notes makes it easier to carry out our tasks but very often the pace gets to us and they fall out of our bags and pockets to never find them again. An Australian woman has been collecting all fallen notes she can after she was intrigued with her first note she found while walking on a pavement.

According to a report in the Metro, Australian Laura Sullivan has been collecting handwritten notes that she has been finding since 2005 while others would walk past it. The woman started collecting it because one fine day 12 years back she found a very interesting sticky note at Sydney Woolsworth on the pavement that had a shopping list on one side and a reminder to attend a counselling session for drug and alcohol addiction. That was the first but she found many more and hasn’t stopped since then.

The collector now has over 400 notes from various parts of the country and outside including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Toronto and even New York; the latter was the most impressive. She has however collected many more but decided to throw away many initially for more interesting ones. Interestingly, she now wants to return some of them back to their owners through an online search that has been titled #HaveIFoundYours.
