Video: Elderly woman's shocking act after man refuses to give up seat on train

It's common etiquette to give up a seat reserved for a senior citizen or pregnant women.

Most people do it even if the seats aren't reserved.

However, one man was caught on camera refusing to give him his seat which was assigned for senior citizens on a Chinese metro.

An elderly commuter in Nanjing city had a huge argument with the man about the seat. She showed no signs of backing down from a fight, while he looked like he just wanted to nap and couldn’t be bothered with her demands. "I am an elderly woman and this seat is for people who are unable to stand," the woman reportedly told him.

When it was clear, he had no intention of moving, the feisty lady took matters into her own hands and decided to sit on his lap throughout her journey.

You would think a showdown like that would have had all eyes on the scene, but other commuters seemed to be
unfazed by it.

However, the video of the incident gained plenty of attention online and has gone viral on social media.
