The family's 1800-acre Halkyn Estate in North Wales is rich in limestone, church stone and lead.

The new Duke of Westminster Hugh Richard Louis Grosvenor has once again hit the headlines after becoming Britain’s most eligible bachelor overnight.

After the sudden death of billionaire and philanthropist the Duke of Westminster, he has inherited his father’s title and estate, making him one of the richest men in the world.

Hugh is only 25 but he is worth £9.9 billion and owns more of Britain than the Queen.

Till two years ago, he was seen playing around with pal Ben Lamont and a blow-up doll on a skiing holiday in the Swiss resort of Zermatt. Now, Hugh has inherited 133,100 acres including 300 acres in exclusive parts of London and is the country’s third richest person.

Before this Hugh was in news after throwing a lavish 21st birthday party for 800 guests, which has been estimated at costing £5m.
