Watch: This poetry performance will strike a chord with all introverts

The struggle that introverts go through in social situations is something that most extroverts would not easily recognise or understand. What better way to get the message across than through a poem? Rabia Kapoor, who is actor Rajat Kapoor’s 18-year-old daughter, vented out her feelings about introversion by performing a spoken word poem at a recent poetry event in Mumbai.

The teenager’s non-rhyming poem talks about the little things that introverts do to cope like quietly sitting in corners at parties and even talking to household pets. Extroverts, on the other hand, get to be the life of the party with everyone gathered around them and paying the utmost attention. But then just because somebody chooses to talk less that doesn’t mean that they don’t have anything meaningful to share.
