Stunning photos of the moment a 12-year-old girl delivers her baby brother are taking over the internet.
A couple of years ago Jacee Dellapena from Mississippi (US), wanted to be present for the birth of her brother Zaydn. Her parents thought she was too young and decided against it, the Independent reports. Fast-forward to 2017 and Jacee's dream finally came true when she got the chance to help deliver the Dellapena family’s last-born child.
Initially she was meant to stand near her mother’s bedside during the delivery. But, the girl was upset she couldn't see what was going on. That's when the doctor suggested, the excited sister better come upfront and deliver the baby herself. The girl who was nervous about it got her scrubs and latex gloves on and was ready to bring her little brother into the world. “I was nervous I was going to mess up but it was the best moment of my life,” she is quoted as saying by MS News Now .
Her father Zack captured the magical moment on camera as the doctor guided Jacee’s hands through the birth. She revealed he even let her pull out seven-pound, six-ounce brother, Cayson. The photos of the birth were posted on Facebook and people couldn't get enough of this family’s most memorable day. The post shared by a family friend has been liked close 221,000 times.
