Watch: Man literally gives ex-wife half of everything after divorce

Divorce can be hard on couples and settlement harder.

But this man took settlement to a whole new level.

Der Juli, a YouTube user, uploaded a video in which he said that he had followed the judge's order not only in spirit but also in letter. The judge ordered him to hand over half of his possessions to his divorced wife and trust us -- he literally did that.

This video was uploaded in 2015, however it went viral recently.

The man divided all his possession in exact halves -- his chair, television, smartphone and even his car!

The video's translated description reads: "Thank you for 12 'beautiful years,' Laura! You've really earned half. Greetings also to my successor."

As per Mashable, all products during that time were put on sale at eBay.

However, a German lawyers' group has claimed that this was a marketing gimmick and not actually the result of a divorce case.
