City’s 20-year-old youngster, Shresth Goyal has once again proved that consistent hard work, passion and dedication for one’s work is the only key to success. Shresth has won the titles ‘Starlife Mr India First Runner-up’ and ‘Starlife Mr Hyderabad’ at the recently concluded ‘Starlife Mr and Ms India’ beauty pageant held at Agra.
The third-year BBA student from Amity Global Business School shares, “I was interested in modelling from the beginning. For the past one-and-a-half years I have been struggling to gain a foothold in the industry. I heard about the pageant six months ago and gave the auditions, and from then, everything fell into place.”
Further, elaborating on the experience of the pageant, Shresth says, “The five-day long pageant had several rounds of sub-contests and grooming. At first, we were 96 contestants in all including both boys and girls; at the finale it went down to 30 contestants in all among whom I was the first runner-up.”
The young aspiring model feels that the experience immensely helped him groom himself and value hard work. “It will always be an experience of a lifetime for me,” states Shresth. Notably, another youngster from the city, Harish Sharma also won the titles of ‘Starlife Mr India Socialist’ and ‘Starlife Mr India Best Physique’ at the same pageant, doubling Hyderabad’s pride in its talented youth.
