The Rotary Cochin Central Club is set to conduct the fourth edition of Run 4 Life with the message, ‘Let’s Rebuild Kerala’. The aim of the event, to be held on Sunday, is to raise funds for the rehabilitation of flood victims. The run will be in two categories – 5 km and 10 km. Young Rotarians, businessmen and individuals from various walks of life supporting the cause will take part in the event.
The Rotary Cochin Central Club was in the forefront of relief operations during the floods, providing essentials to nearly 500 camps along with other Rotary clubs. The club members also collected nearly Rs 30 lakh, which they proposed to use to rehabilitate the most affected people of North Paravur in Ernakulam district. Rotary Cochin Central has been involved in community service for nearly three decades.
