Ambitious women rising up the ranks in almost any sector have been known to create ripples in a patriarchal society as many are disturbed by this development. While representation of women in many spheres in our society is still a long way ahead, having a woman at a superior position still makes many professionals uncomfortable.
At times ambition in a woman is even looked down upon and sexism at the workplace is something women still have to deal with, and this is what a video from Mia by Tanishq has highlighted.
The video focuses on working women from various sectors having to deal with the same issues including being judged for working late and visiting bars, and is narrated by Nandita Das, as it explains why being best at work is the only thing they should care about.
