Bizarre: Virginia man returns home to find it broken in, and cleaned

In what appears to be a really bizarre case of breaking and entering, it turns out that a Virginia man returned home form a trip to find that his house had been broken into.

However, what was surprising was that nothing was taken, and the entire place had been cleaned up.

The entire strange episode occurred in Arlington when the man who had gone on a vacation returned Monday after midnight to find someone had tidied up his apartment. The shocked man called Arlington Police to complain that his apartment appeared to have been cleaned and some items moved around.

Strangely, nothing was missing.

Ashley Savage, a police spokeswoman went on to say that someone had entered the premises unlawfully but added that she was not at a liberty to disclose what exactly had been cleaned as it was still under investigation.
