On Sunday, Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani was a rage on social media as an inspiration for those battling weighty issues. Anant had made a commitment to himself that he would get fit by his 21st birthday.

And he has done it. In just 18 months, he has lost a whopping 108 kilos. And he apparently went about it the natural way, without help from synthetic supplements. His daily exercise regimen included a 21km-walk, followed by yoga, weight training, functional training and high-intensity cardio exercises.

His diet was zero sugar and low-carb but with adequate fat and protein. As a child, Anant was suffering from chronic asthma and the strong medication led to his weight gain. Doctors had warned that losing weight by natural means would be an uphill task but looks like Ambani junior has done it.
