These Indian medieval paintings are so relatable that they will make you laugh
Sometimes guessing what an artwork of a past era actually means can leave you pretty clueless. After all, there’s no way you could ever relate to them, right? Wrong. A Twitter account, named Medieval Reactions, posts photos of paintings from the medieval Indian history period with quirky captions that will make you laugh out loud.
It’s hilarious when paintings that you’d normally see in a museum are described in words that look like a page taken out of a millennial’s book – or rather, social media account.
Suddenly you realise that folks living back in Medieval India had to face the same issues like you do – cheating on your diet, relationship dramas, drunken party escapades and even commuting problems.
