Video: Caught using phone in car, woman says was listening to Quran to heal toothache

Getting caught breaking traffic rules can land people in a soup and while some people accept the consequences, others have a series of excuses ready for getting out of the unwanted situation.

While some people try everything from family emergencies to the most bizarre reasons, one woman in Netherlands took it to another level when she was apprehended by traffic cops for using her phone when driving.

She actually told the cops that she was listening to the Quran in order to cure her toothache. The woman, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt as well citing doctor’s instructions, said 'Koran is the best cure for toothache'.

She was clearly having issues with being filmed during the argument, and also refused to shake hands with the policeman for religious reasons.
