Deepika Padukone is busy! Buying jewellery! And we think its for her big fat wedding to Ranveer Kapoor! It will be the most-awaited wedding this year. And Deepika is not going to leave any stone unturned in looking splendid. She was spotted looking at some jewellery designs... at a jeweller’s shop in Bandra, buying gold. The Piku star was accompanied by her mother. Buzz is, that the ornament designs are almost all finalised and are what Deepika will don on her D-day. The Deepika-Ranveer wedding, is slated for functions which will stretch over a period of three days from from November 18 to 20. Though wedding preparations will keep going on, it’s best to finish what you can, while you can. No one knows it better than Deepika, and hence, she is trying her best to strike off most items from her to-do list, sooner the better.
Deepika has also been helping boyfriend Ranveer’s parents and close relatives to shop for the big day.
The city lost a great teacher on Monday. Jeanne Roby has seen many of students turn to sports through the years. Judith Bidapa’s mother Jeanne Valerie Roby, who taught Balwinians PT and was iconic in her zest for life, and gave us many a lesson. Her funeral was held on June 7 at St Patrick’s Church. To say that they don’t make teachers like her anymore is not enough, but Mrs Roby, you will be in our hearts. Our condolences to the family.
