Actress Dia Mirza raises awareness about environment through this video

Actress Dia Mirza recently featured in an advertisement which is a part of an awareness campaign in association with Culture Machine’s channel “Whack”. The ad titled ‘A message from our mother’ highlights the hazards of illegal dumpling and the problem one is facing due to the rise in pollution.

The video shows how Mother Nature is suffering and facing threats due of human irresponsible behaviour and negligence.

Through the video, Dia Mirza urges people to inculcate 'The 5 Rs' in our daily lives: Reduce, reuse, recycle, repair and refuse avoidable waste.

We all know her as an actor and producer but her role as an activist , Ambassador and conservationist cannot be missed .

About the video, Dia told urbanasian.com, “The only way to save ourselves, the human kind, is by protecting Mother Nature. We are accelerating the rate of climate change with each passing day and leaving humongous amount of carbon footprint with our lifestyle decisions. At this very moment, we all need to slow down and take some strong and definitive steps towards reversing the damage we are causing to our beautiful earth."
