Video: Feminist Disney princesses brutally trash the fairytale life' myth

Nearly every woman out there has been fed one story or another with ‘happily ever after’ endings in childhood. Unfortunately these tales often end up leaving an impact on women’s self-esteem and the way they perceive themselves. Sometimes it takes Disney princesses themselves to quash such stupid beliefs.

YouTube channel East India Comedy has released a special video in honour of Women’s Day that aims to challenge our preconceived notions about a lot of things. Aptly titled Fairy Fails, it features three popular Disney princesses – Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Snow White – trying to instill some sense into a clueless mother that just finished reading a bedtime story to her kid.

The trio reveal things most of us have unfortunately learned the hard way. Like there’s no such thing as a ‘happily ever after’ or even ‘love at first sight’. Click on the link below to view the video:
