Girl tweets thanking Civil Aviation Minister for kind gesture on flight
Kolkata: Social media has created a platform in India for government institutions and politicians to reach out to people and for citizens to seek their help in distress. Several ministers like Sushma Swaraj have been praised on social media for helping out people who tweeted their issues to them.
The latest minister to join ministers and public personalities being applauded by tweeple is the Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha who was thanked by a girl for swapping seats with herself and her mother.
The girl mentioned that they were given XL seats on a flight with more legroom since her mother couldn’t walk and in a mid-flight halt at Kolkata airport, they found out that the seats were meant for the minister and his wife.
But in a touching and responsible gesture, Sinha insisted that the mother daughter duo remain seated there as the Civil Aviation Minister and his wife took other seats.
