A panther creeping silently up on you can only mean one thing – you’re finished. But one man ended up only with cuddles and a few friendly licks after a wild cat tried to pounce on him from behind. A heart-stopping video reveals how Eduardo Serio, an animal keeper, spun around just in time before playfully tussling with the big cat.
In the video, Serio is also seen taunting the cat into chasing him and even kissing it several times before gently pushing it away. The magnificent black panther, called Kal-El, is just one of the animals that Serio takes care of in his animal sanctuary.
The video, which was posted on The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation Facebook page, has been liked and shared thousands of times on social media. Serio’s animal sanctuary also includes other big cats like lions, tigers and lynxes.
