Hyderabad-based designer Pinkey Agarwal’s label ‘Purple Feathers’ showcased her debut collection Mystical Curves at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 recently with a show-stopping number on actress Adah Sharma.
Each silhouette beautifully captured the mood of the contemporary woman of today — her confidence, elegance and love for sensuality, glamour and drama. An assortment of organic drapes along with lush flowing fabrics like satin, crêpe, and crêpe Lycra were used, in tones of off-white and ivory to create a range of timeless style and appeal.
The actress walked the ramp in an embellished tube blouse, zardosi embroidered dupatta and layered skirt, while the gigantic headgear and hot pink wig created a wow factor. “Lakme Fashion Week was a dream come true for me and the experience was simply on top of the world. I always wanted to be a designer and be a part of LFW. Like me, it was Adah Sharma’s debut at debut at LFW as well. She liked my collection and carried each and every piece of my creations at the ramp with ease,” says the designer Pinkey.
