If women ever need a reason to keep your nails in pristine condition all the time, a surprise proposal is as good as any.
When her boyfriend proposed she her nails weren't looking their best for the photos. So her cousin, with perfect red nails, stepped in an played hand model.
The pictures by Twitter user @goodgaljenjen are hilarious and have social media users cracking.
"My cousin's boyfriend proposed to her but she didn't have her nails done," she wrote on Twitter
The first picture show ths happy couple with that sparkling ring.
Then a second behind-the-scenes shot reveals the hand belongs to Jenna, the cousin of the bride-to-be.
