A man was caught on security camera taking an up-skirt photo of a female shopper.
The shocking event was recorded on a supermarket’s CCTV system in the city of Chelyabinsk in central Russia's Chelyabinsk Oblast region.
The clip begins with a middle-age pervert following blonde girl. The man pretends to shop. Soon both of them enter an aisle with a refrigerator section and he takes out his smartphone out of his pocket making sure that no one is looking.
Then he sneaks up to the girl from behind, bends down and takes a quick snap up the girl’s dress using his phone and soon steps away.
The man then puts his phone back after going through the image. The woman looks at him suspiciously however carries on with her shopping.
For a moment it appears as though the woman might have heard the noise of the man's camera but she then walks away.
A security guard later noticed the pervert 's actions and was reportedly angry that he had got away with it.
He decided to upload the footage to a local internet forum, to shame the man, where it quickly went viral.
People remarked that the man looked like he had taken secret intimate photographs before and speculated that he was taking advantage of the long hot summer.
Chelyabinsk, the administrative centre of Chelyabinsk Oblast, stands on the Miass River on the border of Europe and Asia.
It is unclear whether police are investigating the incident.
