Theja Surapaneni, who was recently a part of the Australian game show Hard Quiz, has become a sensation all over the web. He caught everyone’s attention when the host of the show, comedian Tom Gleeson, pointed out that Theja has been one of the most attractive contestents on the show.
Theja, whose parents migrated to Australia in the early ’90s from India, happens to be a Sachin Tendulkar fan. He is a dentist by profession and had been a fan of the show for quite some time, and hence decided to be a part of it.
ABC, the channel that airs the quiz show, uploaded a clip of Theja’s introduction on Facebook that soon went viral. The clip has been shared more than 18,000 times and gathered 3.5 million views on various social networking platforms. But, watching the clip one can certainly say that Theja is every bit as witty as he is handsome. And so when Tom asked Theja, “Your family is from India, you’re a dentist and your expert subject is Sachin Tendulkar. Are you a cliche?” pat came his reply, “Yes! I get in my Uber at night and own my 7-Eleven during the week,” which left everyone, including the studio audience, other contestants and Tom, in splits.
Theja has been receiving a lot of love from the netizens. One twitter user, Mireille Sillander, tweeted, “Sweet baby jesus he looks like a Disney prince!” While another user, Crystal Methanny, wrote, “This is the most attractive man I have ever seen in my life. I can’t even think of anything else to say other than that.”
