Any one who is on social media has at least some idea about how far people can go to win likes and appreciation on the internet. But the extent to which folks are now manipulating truth online just goes on to show that so many of us end up falling for total lies.
A video posted on the ‘Ditch the Label’ Facebook page gives a glimpse of how people tell little lies on social media just to maintain the façade of leading a life that seems cooler than it actually is. It goes on to show the example of a woman who actually wakes up and applies makeup on her face before crawling back into bed to upload a ‘I woke up like this’ photo. It even shows a man who posts a picture of his ‘super healthy breakfast’ that he later throws away after tasting.
