Cyber space boosts literature: Dr B Ekbal
KOZHIKODE: The literary works are getting discussed among public, thanks to cyber space that one need not have to wait for a publisher’s kindness for expressing his creativity, opined Dr B. Ekbal. He added that the technology aids writing a lot by helping in research and fact-findings. He was talking during a discussion on Cyber World and Literature World during the Kerala Literature Fest here at Kozhikode Beach on Friday.
Writer M.Nandakumar said that the notion that cyber world is discussing each and every movement in the world should be changed. Mahesh Mangalat opined that unlike online news portals, cultural portals are not flourishing rather they are being closed down without any replacement emerging. He opined that cyber literature has not made any significant effect on the mainstream writing. Damodar Prasad was the moderator of the talk.
