Chinese school uses newspaper hats' to prevent cheating in exams

The students were made to wear cut out skull-sized holes in newspaper sheets over their heads.

A school in China seems to have found an effective but quirky way to stop its students from cheating during a test. They cut out skull-sized holes in newspaper sheets and made students wear them over their heads while writing their papers.

The school, which is situated in the Anhui province, ensured that its pupils wore the unusual headgear in class while attempting their exams, according to local Chinese media reports. The amusing anti-cheating tactic not only kept the students’ eyes from wandering but also ensured that others were not able to look into their answer sheets.

Photos of the students wearing the ‘newspaper hats’ went viral on social media and have invited both ridicule and laughter from internet users.
