Bengaluru cop used wit to raise awareness about traffic laws, tweeple loved it

The social media has emerged not only as an effective platform bringing people together, but it has also created a medium for communicating with the masses, and especially the youth.

Tech savvy celebrities and politicians have been using Twitter to reach out to millions of users across the country, with the Prime Minister himself and some of his top ministers making their presence felt on the micro-blogging site, time and again.

While government institutions like the Indian Railways and Mumbai Police have been helping out citizens who manage to reach out to them via Twitter, the latter has also made news for their witty tweets which have won them several fans.

Keeping in line with his counterparts in Mumbai, Abhishek Goyal, Bangalore’s Deputy Commissioner of Police, posted a witty tweet to address traffic offenders parking in no-parking zones.

Instead of putting it out straight away as a stern warning, the top cop chose to describe the towing van as a valet service and asked the offenders to feel free to park anywhere. Tweeple simply loved the fresh approach and here's how they reacted.
