People having unexpected encounters with animals can be quite frightening and can be dangerous too if not evaded in time. In a bizarre incident, a cow jumped on a man from the rooftop of a house in Kolkata and people cannot really understand how the cow reached there in the first place.
According to a media report, an 85-kilo jumped on the man from almost 70 feet above the ground in a market area in Tiljala. The man, Abdul Mannan was busy shopping for groceries at a vegetable seller in Masjid Bari lane when the incident occurred but the man was lucky survive.
The report states that the cow fell off the roof after it was restless from being there for days after the owner had bought it a while back. The calf broke free from its rope after it was held captive and jumped 3-ft wall before falling to the ground on Abdul. Unfortunately, the cow died on the spot and the man was taken to the hospital after he had broken a few ribs.
