Bengaluru’s society couple, Dekyi Yangtso and Amit Chawla who are always globetrotting met Oscar winner Mahersala Ali, who won the Best Supporting Actor for Moonlight on one of their recent trips to London.
He has also played the character of lobbyist Remy Danton in House of Cards. Dekyi posted a photograph of them with the actor in London.
She wrote, “Mahersala was ever so friendly and down-to-earth with zero airs. We laughed quite a bit as I mistook him for Wesley Snipes much to my husband Amit’s embarrassment! And that was the beauty of this man!” That’s awesome. Some people sure have all the luck!
