Firefighters help remove man's penis ring after sex act goes wrong
After a sex act went wrong, firefighters in the UK were called to remove a penis ring after it got stuck, the Metro reported.
Lube applied by doctors at Ipswich Hospital, Suffolk, proved ineffective. That is when a team of 10 firefighters showed up and attempted to use hydraulic equipment to remove it, which also failed.
Another fire crew arrived on the scene at 4:15 a.m. and used cutting equipment to free the unidentified man.
"It was finally cut off with the a small piece of cutting equipment.. We cannot give any other details," a spokesman is quoted as saying by the Metro.
Penis rings are designed to improve erections. There have been a growing number of similar incidents, according to the London Fire Brigade.
Rescue workers believe these frequent sex game mishaps are due to the 'Fifty Shades of Grey effect'.
