This Pakistani woman's heart warming post is a must read in testing times

She describes as a divorced couple, sharing space, constantly bickering over who lost out in the settlement.'

The ghastly terrorist attack on an Indian army base on Uri triggered a rise in tensions between India and Pakistan in the past few weeks and as keyboard commandoes are raising war cries, many are celebrating the surgical strikes by Indian army across the LoC.

While the border is tense and thousands of villagers have had to leave their homes behind due to fear of a conflict, the social media is abuzz with various individuals from both sides reflecting hate and resentment, and many trying to send across a message of peace. |

From celebrities bearing the brunt for actions of terrorists to jingoistic initiatives by businesses, the region is gripped by chaotic times, with a rising need for sensible voices from both sides to diffuse the situation.

In such a scenario, a woman from Pakistan has shared her views in a Facebook post as she describes the countries first as ‘siblings, constantly at loggerheads’ and then as ‘a divorced couple, sharing space, constantly bickering over who lost out in the settlement.’

She talks about how both countries are similar in so many ways as they are both guilty of turning a blind eye to crimes against minorities and both equally love Bollywood movies and stars.

She also mentions how spending time with friends from across the border were her best days and how her closest friend from India says he will always love her no matter what the governments do.
