Man gets 47-year layover due to travel company glitch, their response is epic

Waiting on the terminal during layover for a connecting flight can be at times frustrating, especially when the wait is extended due to delays. If a few hours at the terminal can be stressful, how about a layover which is close to five decades?

Well this is exactly the kind of alarming situation that James Lloyd was faced with when travel company Skyscanner’s website told him that he will have to wait 47 years for a connecting flight.

While this was merely a technical glitch, Lloyd took to Facebook and posted a screenshot of the website showing a 47 year layover in hours, and asked for their help.

But Skyscanner’s response was a hilarious one, as the wit clicked with Facebook users, as the post went viral.
