What may appear to be just stomach pain can often turn out to be something much more serious. At times the cause of such health issues might be anything from shocking to outright disgusting.
A blood curdling video doing the rounds on the internet shows doctors pulling out more than a dozen worms from a woman’s stomach. The round worms measuring between six to eight inches were found in the bile duct that connects liver and intestines.
The woman was in pain for a long time and had lost 11 kg in a month due to the condition. The procedure involved using forceps through a tube in her throat to remove the creatures.
Roundworms are known to be consumed with contaminated food and reproduce inside the gut.
