Young boxer who tragically died saved 7 lives by donating his organs
Scott Westgarth was living out his dream as a boxer when he tragically passed away after winning a match in February.
He was rushed to hospital after he suffered a bleed on the brain where he died at just 31-years-old. The day before he passed away he told fans 'he boxed out of sheer love for the game', the Daily Mail reported.
His mother Rebecca described her son as being 'selfless' who loved to help people. Even in death he proved just how true that statement is.
Upon her arrival at the hospital, he learned that Scott put his name on the organ donors list thrice. She revealed she put her hand on his heart and thought the person who receives his heart will be very lucky.
Rebecca learned his organs managed to save seven lives. Knowing what her did after his death brings her some comfort during this difficult time.
