Zara's Love Your Curves' ad backfires badly after using skinny models
A popular clothing brand for women has drawn the ire of the internet after its ad aimed for curvier women ended up featuring models that were not even close to being plus-sized. A photo of the ‘Love your Curves’ poster was snapped by a Twitter user from Ireland who found it while shopping at the popular retailer.
You have got to be shitting me, Zara. pic.twitter.com/tiOsJv5AVy

Can i just say, this is nothing to with the models. It's the marketeers that have distorted their image & fucked up.

Many people online expressed their outrage at the ad which they felt promoted unhealthy stereotypes about body image.
@CamillaKerslake @RebeccaCNReid How didn't anyone on their marketing team go... 'Lads, lads, how about we don't piss people off?'

@janemerrick23 @MuireannO_C Sometimes I think these shops do things like this on purpose to cause an uproar, ergo loads of free publicity

However, this is not the first time that Zara has been in the news for the wrong reasons. Not so long ago, a woman sued the brand after she allegedly found a dead mouse sewn into the hem of her dress.
