Hyderabad turned into a giant party zone at the Sunburn event, where over 15,000 guests ushered in the New Year with plenty of music and dance.
When the well-known DJ duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike began the countdown to the New Year at their much awaited Sunburn gig at Hitex Grounds on Sunday night, it was the culmination of quite a happening night.

The internationally acclaimed DJs played for over 15,000 guests, comprising of not just people from the city, but also several people who had come down from various parts of the country just to be a part of what is being called the biggest New Year’s Eve gig Hyderabad has ever witnessed.
Parveen Padalkar, who flew down from Bengaluru to spend December 31 with her best friend Neha shares, “This has been so much fun! I never knew Hyderabad is such a happening place. For sure I’d consider coming back here more often.” Just like her, Shashank Alijar too flew down to the city to be with friends and watch Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike perform.

The other entertainers at the event were DJs Shashank, Mad Mac, Mariana Bo and Mattn, all of whom kept the audience on their feet, preparing them for the grand event of the night — the ringing in of the New Year. Speaking about the overwhelming response to the event, Rishi Agarwal, who organised the event along with Sanjay Gupta of Global Entertainment, shares, “The huge number of people in attendance was a big boost for us.”
