Woman gets 20 lovers to buy her iPhone 7s, sells them all to buy house

A woman in China has reportedly become the owner of a new house after receiving an iPhone 7 from each of her twenty boyfriends. The incredible story was first shared on a popular blogging website, Tian Ya Yi Du forum, by an online user under the pseudonym ‘Proud Qiaoba’.

Qiaoba wrote that the cunning woman in question, known as Xiaoli (not her real name), who also happens to be her colleague was “not from a wealthy family” and was under pressure to buy a home for her aging parents. A spokesperson at the Hui Shou Bao company confirmed that they had indeed purchased 20 handsets from a female client for about $885 each but refused to give her details to the media.

The blog post soon went viral on the Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo under a hashtag that translates to "20 mobiles for a house" after getting 13 million page hits, according to the BBC.
