Google has no record of Chandigarh class 12 boy's Rs 1.44 crore job offer

Media reports had claimed 16-year-old Harshit Sharma was joining the company as graphic designer for his talented skills.

Google, on Tuesday, refused reports of 16-year-old Harshit Sharma being offered a job by the search giant.

Earlier on Tuesday, media reports about Sharma went viral for being selected as a graphic designer for the company that would pay him of Rs 12 lakh per month.

Sharma is a class XII student of Government Model Senior Secondary School in Sector 33-B of Chandigarh.

According to the reports he had been trained by his uncle and was to leave for his new job in California on August 7.

However, Google told The Indian Express they have no record of his candidacy.

The achievement had come for having a keen eye for design and a knack for innovating things at such a young age.

He claimed he was selected after he submitted some of his posters through a “Google link”. Google however does not recruit from any schools in the world.

The Indian Express had earlier reported on the story of his job offer.
