Investiture ceremony
The investiture ceremony of Al-Ameen Public School, Pathanampuram for the academic session 2016-2017 was held recently at the school. The deserving young talent of the Senior and Junior wing were bestowed with the responsibility of leading the school. They were given badges by Hari Kumar CI of Excise Department in the presence of Manager Jb - Mohammed Shereef, Trustee Jb-Abdul Majeed Sahib, Principal Geetha Nair, Vice-Principal Bindu. C.R and P T A President Jaffar Khan. The captains and prefects took the oaths.
Sivagiri Sree Narayana Senior Secondary School conducted an investiture ceremony of the representatives elected to the school council for the year 2016-17. School manager Srimath Rhithambaranantha swamiji General Secretary Sree Narayana Dharama Sangam Trust administered the oath in the presence of the Principal, Vice-principal and all the student. All the representatives elected by the students for the post of Head boy, Head girl, Captains and Vice-captains of the four houses were inducted in this function.

Youth Festival
The Youth Festival at the Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School, Thiruvallam was held on July 29 and 30. The fest was inaugurated by Alleppey Sreekumar, Principal of Sree Swathi Thirunal Government College of Music, Trivandrum. Principal Fr Mathew Arekalam, Vice-Principal Sivakami, Academic Co-ordinator Alex Fernandez and Junior School Headmistress Ms Sudha Devi were present on the occasion.
FENESTRA-2016 the cultural and sports festival of Sree Vivekananda memorial Public School, Aralummoodu was held here. Sudeep Kumar, renowned playback singer was the Chief Guest. Kalam Smrithi
MGM RP School, Kottarakara celebrated ‘Kalam Smrithi’ on a grand scale. Students of various classes gave speeches on the contributions and dreams of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Certain students displayed play cards on the important thoughts of Abdul Kalam.
