Hyderabad school students conquer Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro stands at an impressive height of 19,336 feet and is also the tallest freestanding mountain in the world.

Rigorous training and dedication led William Joseph, a class 9th student to successfully scale the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in the African continent. He was a part of the 13-member expedition team of students from Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

William, who wants to pursue a career as a marine biologist in the future, claims that this experience has taught him that any challenge can be overcome with the right mindset, according to reports. Jayant Buddole, another student from his school who was part of the expedition, was able to reach the summit camp (16,141 feet high) – just 3,200 feet short of the summit.
