1The laidback and paradise-like Krabi islands mesmerised me instantly with its bluish-green waters. The beach paradise in southern Thailand is definitely a treat for the eyes. What impressed me the most was that Krabi is quieter and charming in its own way, especially its white powdery sand beach and aquamarine blue waters.
2 Thai cuisines comes with strong aromatic components and a spicy tone. You should not miss out on the Thai rice and tandoor fish which was one of the best culinary memories I still have from my trip. Apart from that, the fruits you get there are to die for. Just like the sea, the water melon comes in enthralling colours, it has a smooth exterior rind and is delicious.
3 We had to depend on boats for our island hopping, and exploring the most beautiful sandy beaches tucked away on hidden islands and peninsulas. Apart from Krabi islands, the Phi Phi islands also have some of the best beaches in the province.
4 The other beaches were mostly filled with foreigners looking for an even tan. Many foreigners complimented me on my ethnic tanned skin tone and that is one memory I’ll always cherish about Krabi.
5 Though I didn’t have much time for shopping, I did not miss out on some flowing beach dresses from the Krabi islands — the jump suits and frocks in floral prints.
