Jim Carrey has a new love in his life - and she is been around Hollywood for a while! Jim Carrey and his co- star Ginger Gongaza who both star in Showtime's television series Kidding. The comedian 56, and the actress 34, let the cat out of the bag when they made their debut as couple on the red carpet on the golden globes nominee's celebration in West Hollywood, California.
He brought Gongaza as his date the very next day to the golden globes where he was nominated for his perfomance in “kidding'. Carrey spoke to extra after the ceremony and was ebullient about gongaza that - “she's incredible, unbelievable, wicked talent and amazing person”.
Carrey also quipped about their “date night” at the globes. “Not bad for a first date!” he laughed. “I just want first base tonight, I’m not looking to take the field.” Happy to take her along with me. Gongaza previously starred in the showtimes series I'm dying up here' which carrey executive-produced. The two then went on to work together on Kidding.
