1 On one of my recent trips to Coorg, we had a quick stopover at a quaint town named Mandalpatti, which is known for its hill-scape and verdant green patches. Mandalpatti, which is predominantly a trekking or shooting locale, offers adventure enthusiasts an adrenaline rush like none other. The rugged terrains along the sides of the interiors offer off-roading enthusiasts opportunities to indulge in similar activities.
2 Given the nip in the area around this location, the dishes offered are the signature Coorgi cuisines, but with a dash of added spice. The small shops on the highway offer a very special Mandalpatti charmuri (spicy chaat). This place isn’t tailormade for foodies, but for those who wish to spend time outdoors grooming away.
3 I think it’s best to pack your trekking shoes and workout gear! I indulged in an amazing yoga session out in the wild at the open terrace of a hilltop resort.
4 Last but not the least, do not forget to go on a jeep trail when at this place.
