French prisoner in Uttar Pradesh jail builds Taj Mahal matchstick model

It took him 30,000 matchsticks and 2 kg of superglue to create the model over a period of three months.

Being imprisoned in a foreign country did not stop a man from paying a creative love tribute to his wife. Albert Pascal Shaine built a Taj Mahal model using matchsticks as a New Year gift for his spouse.
It took Shaine 30,000 matchsticks and 2 kg of superglue to create the model over a period of three months. The Maharajganj district jail administration displayed the matchstick Taj Mahal on Monday evening and is even making efforts to send the handcrafted gift to his wife in France.
The French prisoner was caught with 3kg of Charas at the Indo Nepal border in 2014 and has been behind bars from December 2, 2014 under the NDPS act.
