A new survey has found most women are not attracted to smokers, the Independent reported.
The survey, conducted by supplemental oxygen company Inogen, had close to 1,000 participants between the ages of 18 and 76. 57% were nonsmokers, 24.3% said they smoked and 18.7% were vape-users.
70% of the women said smokers repulse them and 56% said they would not date them. For men, 46% said they wouldn't date a smoker and 65% found smoking unattractive.
75% revealed the smell of cigarette smoke and concerns of health was the main reason they would not date a smoker. They also listed reasons like bad breath and worry of kissing a smoker with yellow teeth.
Participants were also asked if they preferred vaping over smoking. 54% revealed they wouldn't.
Interestingly, the survey also found 42% of women and 43% of men who identified as smokers did not reveal that on dating apps.
