WHO classifies failure to find partner for sex as a disability
Not being able to find a sexual partner for a long time despite trying can be a frustrating thing for anyone especially with several dating apps providing a platform for the same. But now medical authorities seem to suggest that you might be classified as disabled if you can’t find a sexual partner.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) said that not being able to achieve pregnancy in 12 months or more after trying is now a disability and from that it mentioned that someone who cannot find a suitable sexual partner will also be considered disabled.
The reason behind this is that every individual will now have “right to reproduce” and heterosexual single men, women and gay couples who want to have children will be entitled to seek help from IVF.
Meanwhile experts have slammed the law as “absurd nonsense” as they said that while infertility can be a medical issue, it cannot be seen as a disease or disability and also said that the organisation was overstepping from health issues into social matters by classifying single people as disabled.
