Video: New condom in market is unbreakable!

Even if you poke needle in the condom, it doesn't rip.

Here is some good news for the condom. It won't break, even if you try!

There's a new condom in town with claims it can beat one of the greatest fears that even contraceptive pills can’t…breakage.

This condom, launched in the market named LELO Hex, is structurally re-engineered!

This HEX condom represents one of the first major advances in condom technology since the reservoir tip was added almost 70 years ago, reports Mashable.

The engineers spent seven years to develop this new product and they made an important discovery -- you don't need new material but a new structure.

“The challenge was to make something radically different with a material already approved for condom use. We did this because people need to be having great, safe sex today, not ten years from now," Filip Sedec, LELO founder and inventor of LELO HEX, told Mashable.

Wondering why hexagon? Because it’s a six-sided shape and is most durable under pressure and seep-resistant.

“There’s a reason why honeycombs are the shape they are, and why snake scales move the way they do. It’s because hexagons are strong, symmetrical, and tessellate perfectly. They’re one of nature’s go-to shapes for anything needing to be at once lightweight, and incredibly strong. That’s why the structure of Graphene – the thinnest, strongest material we know of today is ... you guessed it, hexagonal,” Sedec explained.

Unlike other condoms in market, this product has a honeycomb hexagonal lattice. Every condom has 350 small hexagons on its latex surface which help in effective performance.

LELO claims that the condom has extremely thin hexagonal panels, flex and mold. It’s more forgiving of friction and stress, preventing the latex from tearing.

Even if you poke a needle in the condom, it doesn’t rip.

The hexagonal ridge is on the inside of the condom and easily takes the shape of the wearer.

The poked hole stays within the hexagonal cell and doesn’t rip the entire latex condom.

The company at present is crowdfunding the product campaign on Indiegogo and aims to also to create awareness about safe sex.
