Sex is quite an energetic activity that may often get messy because it involves lubricants, secretions and all sorts of other things. Smelling after having sex is quite common among couples and while many think it is bad, there are several reasons why that could be happening and a doctor tells us why.
According to a report in Health, Dr Roshni Raj says that one of the most common reasons among women could be bacterial vaginosis, which is the growth of certain bacteria around the vagina. A thin white discharge with pain and odor leads to an unusual odor. The other main reason could be STD’s (sexually transmitted diseases) that women may be affected by but still don’t know. One of the most common diseases that affect women is trichomoniasis, which can leave a foul odour after sex.
The foul odour can be cured by visiting a gynaecologist and should be attended to quickly or else it could lead to other problems between couples.
