The mention of dental retainers usually brings about mental images of socially awkward teenagers struggling to smile in photos. But Taiwanese dentist and artist Kuang-Yi Ku has shown that certain dental aids can also play a major role in intensifying pleasure during a blow job.

Ku’s art exhibit ‘The Fellatio Modification Project’ which “examined bodily transformation aimed at enhancing sensory pleasure during oral sex, particularly in male gay culture” was on public display from November 1 to the 4th. The exhibit also included ‘The Cunnilingus/ Anilingus Modification Project’ in which fourth-year dentistry students Anisha Gupta and Carly Billing focused on making a single-use wearable oral device that could be used during those sexual acts.

But Ku believes that this is only the beginning. “In the future, I imagine people might want to permanently modify their mouths. They might get the soft tissue added into the roofs of their mouths,” he told Dazed Digital.
