A phone replying to queries through artificial intelligence has become quite normal these days and it is almost as if we’re asking another person in the case of Siri. A recent study sheds light on how much time people spend asking Siri questions and what exactly they are asking and it is quite surprising.
According to a report in the Metro, Siri’s voice has made many people people develop ‘feelings’ for her and now she has become an important part of their life even though she is just artificial intelligence. Mindshare talking about the interaction between men and Siri has said that over quarter of them have sexual fantasies about their digital assistant. About 26 percent want to actually have sex Siri because most of them have deep emotional attachments to her.
Siri has been such a success that almost a third of regular users actually wish she was a real person. Another virtual assistant Robin was being used up to 300 times by men so that they could ‘talk dirty’ to her and it is mostly because they are lonely and bored.
