Robots are revolutionizing the way we view the world today and in the process also helping us achieve sexual pleasure with sex robots. While there is a need for physical intimacy, men and women also need a certain kind of need for emotional proximity, which may be currently lacking. A recent study however provides insight into the emotional need and it might just be possible.
According to a report in the Guardian, sex robots are definitely the future and having sex has never become easier for people who cannot find the right partner. Switzerland-based professor of Information Systems and Ethics, Oliver Bendel easily expects “perfect” sex robots to be capable of reading “every wish from our eyes” within 20 years time.
Interestingly, the debate about how sex with a robot can provide the physical and emotional support temporarily but humans will eventually understand how it is a fake. The need for human contact will be felt, as the robot does not really have human qualities differing from person-to-person and the idea is far-fetched in robotics as of now.
